Recruitment is done for Group-A and Group-B technical posts. There are three stages of recruitment. Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, Personality Test.

ESE 2021 Exam Dates

If you want to make a career in IES, you must be well aware of important IES exam dates.

The Prelims exam will be conducted on Jul 18, 2021, and the results will be published in the month of September 2021 tentatively.

IES 2021 Recruitment

For IES recruitment, you need to qualify for all three stages(Prelims, Mains, and interview) of the exam.  Recruitment will be done for the following categories for Group A/B posts:

  • Category I – Civil Engineering

These opportunities include 21 openings for Persons with Disabilities (PWD). The details of seats under the PwD classification are as per the following:

  • For Low Vision candidates – 03
  • For Locomotor Disability including Leprosy cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack victims and Muscular Dystrophy- 11
  • For Hard hearing candidates – 07
